Labor Day Recipe Round-Up

Seattle’s breathtaking view from Alki yesterday

Happy Labor Day, friends! Hope everyone is enjoying their well-earned time off and you’re spending the day with your loved ones. I’ve spent the weekend in Seattle packing endless boxes, catching up with friends, and getting used to my new shorter haircut. Before heading out to a picnic, I want to share some easy holiday recipes in case you haven’t decided what to bring to that BBQ later today.

Summer Fun Punch is a refreshing drink with all your fixings like rosemary, basil, mint, raspberries, and more. Don’t forget to drink responsibly :D

In my opinion, a potluck without guacamole is incomplete. The Best Guacamole Ever just might do the trick.

Everything bite size tastes better, don’t you think? Petit Goat Cheese & Prosciutto is an easy and whimsical appetizer that is bursting with flavor (as a warning, you may need a breath mint).

I’m off to make sliders for today’s picnic (recipe will be posted later this week). Happy day and enjoy!

I love Labor Day picnics but I prefer the familial atmosphere with my husband and my three children. This year I decided to go for a picnic to my favorite High Park in Toronto and have a little fun with my family. Nothing could make me happier than this kind of Labour Day celebration. :)
